Forward Thinking by Civicance at Career Fair

November 26th, 2015

Civicance took part in a Careers Fair held at South Cheshire College for students ranging from Year 8 up to Year 13. Over 600 children from Sir William Stanier High School, Ruskin Community High School, St Thomas More Catholic High School and Kings Grove School attended the event, together with students from South Cheshire College.

As part of the days events various challenges were set for the students, including our very popular 'Dangerous Structures Corner' where students were challenged to build the tallest tower they could with the fewest blocks as a way of highlighting just one of our many roles for Cheshire East Council.

Students were able to benefit from the expertise and guidance provided by Civicance staff regarding Building Control within the construction industry. Civicance look forward to taking part in the next Careers Fair in Macclesfield.
