The award winning Land Charges team is nominated for Most Improved Service

Land Charges team with Ian Bunn

The Cheshire East land charges team, part of the wholly owned company Civicance Ltd, has been nominated by NLIS (National Land Information Service) for an award, within the Most Improved Service category.

The award recognises the Local Land Charges Department which has made the most improvement to its service delivery between October 2018 and November 2019.  Judges use NLIS Hub data to determine the most improved turnaround performance, the highest increase in electronic search volumes against paper, email or personal searches and the highest levels of searches returned electronically.

The Land Data Local Land Charges Awards for Excellence celebrate the very best that the Local Land Charges community has to offer. Since 2008 these national awards have highlighted the work and achievements of local authority Local Land Charges teams which carry out the land and property searches required for conveyancing transactions in England and Wales.

In challenging and changing times, it’s more important than ever to showcase best practice, value and high standards. A total of eight award categories will feature recognising customer satisfaction, best customer experience, the most improved NLIS service, the best NLIS Local Land Charges department, an Unsung Hero, the Local Authority Searches Team of the Year and the Digital Data Award. A winner and a highly commended for each category will be chosen by a panel of judges from leading organisations in the conveyancing searches market.

For the Cheshire East Land Charges team, it’s another nomination for an award recognising an unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service and consistent above national average turn around performance.
