It was a busy week in March for Civicance Ltd which saw more success at this year’s iese Public Sector Transformation Awards with the team winning an innovation award for a new land charges online portal solution.

The iese Public Sector Transformation Awards were held at the prestigious Church House, Westminster and took place on Wednesday 4th March with a number of public and private sector organisations in attendance.

The Innovation award recognises the development and/or bringing to the market new innovative technologies or ways of working that can transform the delivery of a local public service. This particular award was open to both the public sector and private organisations, and recognised the innovative approach the new full suite search ordering platform created through a partnership between the councils wholly owned company Civicance Ltd and Resolution Data Management.

This new online portal will provide the ability to submit and monitor requests, whilst providing a clear line of communication between the customer and the Land Charge team enabling the customer to manage their search submissions directly.

In total there were 22 nominations entered in to the innovation category from around the UK, which demonstrates the proactive and positive contribution of the team in the development of this solution.

The award winning online platform was developed in response to initiatives set by the Government to improve services and is hoped over the coming months it will be rolled out to new service users.

The week was also made especially exciting as the team attended the final of the NLIS Local Land Charges Awards after being nominated as a finalist in the Most Improved Service category.
